Why we are a weimaraner rescue:

This is Lilly. She is a young, beautiful Weimaraner who came to us in this condition form a kennel where she was being boarded by another rescue group. She showed up on our doorstep with severe skin rash, pendulous teats and heartworm positive. Her teeth at the age of 2 were the worst I had ever seen on any dog senior or otherwise. She had also been shot in the chest with a BB or other small caliber gun. Most people would have just given up but not the rescue group who had here and certainly not us! We spent months and months nursing her back to health seeking out the very best veterinary help we could find which led us to Beach Pet. With their help and our diligent care and attention Lilly recovered, regained her health and is now a beautiful, healthy well behaved young Weimaraner and most importantly she is now adopted!
Two-thirds of all Weimaraners end up in rescue.

That is why we are Mid-Atlantic Weimaraner Rescue and this is why we are here and proud of what we do.

Go Lilly!

I'm pretty sure the dog is very thankful that you rescued her. She looked really better now.
